Violin bow of sled on snow
Breath of horse in frosty blow
Harness jingles
Laughter mingles
From golden stars above and below.
Deep blue wishes sung aloud
Echo through the twinkling boughs
And kindly warm our icy ears
With a musical glow of comfort and cheer.

Carol of candles in radiant chorus
Heartfelt, in off-key harmony for us
Children’s faces proudly gleaming
Forgetful of words but mindful of meaning.
Whispered hush in the still night air
Prolonged note of heavenly care
Witness of miracle, wondering eyes
Angels singing in the skies
Solemn symphony of Christmas prayer.
